Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch is an American comedian, author and television host, most famous for her role as host on Dinner and a Movie on TBS and an activist in environmental issues and secular humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch is a critically recognized actress and New York Times Bestselling Author of the memoirs Wherever You Find Them, They Are See You Made an Effort You Say Tomato I say"Shut Up And Get Rid of Me!" The memoir was also included in a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch hosts Dinner & a Movie on TBS for a number of years. Television viewers will remember her appearances on shows such as Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown and the program on sustainability WA$TED that was broadcast in the US on The Planet Green Network. She makes regular appearances with PBS Newhour Real Time with Bill Maher and on NPR as well as penning Op-ed pieces for New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter and satire pieces for The New Yorker and McSweeeneys.
